A training course entitled "The cross-border director-general" was held on 26-27 April in Strasbourg by the MOT and the Centre National de la Fonction Publique Territoriale (CNFPT).
On 18th November, members of the MOT network gathered at the CGET (General Commission for Territorial Equality) in Saint-Denis, for a meeting of the Technicians’ Platform and the Advisory Committee of the MOT.The Technicians’ Platform looked at plans to put in place during 2016 an online forum for exchanges between members of the network.
On 30 June 2015 at the University of Silesia the inaugural international conference of the Polish-Czech-Slovak Euro-Institut was held, organised by the Association for Development and Regional Cooperation "Olza" (representing the Polish side of the Cieszyn Silesia Euroregion) and the Institut EuroSchola in Trinec (Czech Republic).
The BRIT 2016 Conference will be held in Hamburg (Germany) and in Sønderborg (Denmark), on 17-20 May 2016. The deadline for the call for papers is November 1, 2015.
After more than five years of work, the MOT is inaugurating its online documentation portal - available in French - and opening up its documentation centre to specialist users.
This European research project, led by the University of Eastern Finland, held its final conference on 20-21 February 2015 in Istanbul. This event was an opportunity to present the findings and the studies carried out during the four-year research project, the aim of which was to analyse regional development at Europe's external borders through cross-border cooperation policies and practices.
