Construction of Greater Geneva: disappointment on the French side

On 14 September the Swiss Government introduced its bill concerning the funding of “Third generation conurbation projects”.
The Greater Geneva partners on the French side like the Metropolitan Pole of the French Genevois speak of “real disappointment”: the extension of the Geneva tramline to Saint-Genis-Pouilly and phase 2 of the Geneva-Annemasse tramline have not been taken into account, ‘which amounts to putting a brake on cross-border construction,’ said Gabriel Doublet, first Vice-President of Annemasse Agglo.
