60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty: French regions and German Länder meet

At the invitation of the Regions of France and the Grand Est Region, a meeting between representatives of the French regions and members of the Conference of Ministers of European Affairs was held in Strasbourg on the 17th and 18th of January 2023.
The representatives of the two countries also discussed the regional implementation of the Green Pact for Europe and youth employment in the Franco-German context, as well as the prospects for action that European funds open up at regional level.
On this occasion, Regions and Länder committed themselves with a joint declaration to accelerate the green and environmental transition of the territories in light of the European Green Deal.
