Workshop “Territorial observation of Germany and of its neighboring regions”
9 September 2014 in BerlinThe workshop is organized by the BBSR and deals with the statistical analysis of life conditions and economical prerequisite in border regions.

In the first part of the workshop, speakers will tell about their practical experience in observation of border regions. In the second part, a debate about obstacles and challenges of cross-border observation and cooperation between federal state, German “Länder” and regions will be held.
The workshop is aimed at cross-border and transnational stakeholders, as well as at representatives of state and regional authorities dealing with the analysis of regional development.
