Project: five seminars on operational arrangements for cross-border projects on French borders

The MOT organised five seminars of information about the setting up of cross-border projects on French borders, within the framework of the national program Europ'Act.
Each seminar was focused on one or two French borders:

French-Spanish-Andorran seminar (16 September 2013 in Toulouse)
French-Swiss seminar (3 October 2013 in Annemasse)
French-Italian seminar (10 October 2013 in Genova)
French-German-Luxembourg seminar (17 October 2013 in Sarreguemines)
French-Belgian-UK seminar (29 October 2013 in Lille)

The objectives

The aim of these seminars was to inform local actors of cross-border cooperation and raise their awareness of the legal instruments available on each of the French borders, as well as encouraging the exchange of good practice on their use. They were addressed the practical questions connected to the choice, the setting up and the functioning of the legal tools in the service of projects.
These seminars were intended for cross-border cooperation stakeholders (local authorities and their groupings, services of the State, educational establishments, associations, companies, the actors of the European programmes, cross-border structures, etc.) that have endowed their projects with legal structuring or that envision doing so.

The final document of the project, "The legal framework of cross-boerder cooperation: Legal instruments for cross-border projects" is available on this website (see on the right).
