Cross-border exchange of public service data made easier across the EU

In force since 11 April, the Regulation on an interoperable Europe aims to establish a new framework for cooperation between public administrations in order to strengthen the exchange and accountability of data between Member States.
This will apply in particular to public services such as healthcare, transport, the justice system and administrative procedures – a key factor, according to the European Commission, in achieving its ambition to make 100% of essential public services accessible by 2030.
