Natural areas for conservation

These cross-border rural territories are at the same time fragile spaces, with a rich heritage (architecture, landscapes, flora, fauna, traditional skills...) with many similarities on either side of the border. This allows the development of tourism, but can also pose a risk for the balance between the two sides. This situation requires concerted cross-border policy on preservation and promotion of these shared resources.
