A subjective map for the Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai cross-border living area

To produce a map based on the feelings of citizens, the Forum of the Eurometropolis Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai - who constitutes its citizen assembly - launched this project a year ago to capture the "emotional landscape of the cross-border living area".
The ambition of the map: to represent not the topography of the territory but its perception experienced by the inhabitants. To do this, volunteers from the three sides (France, Wallonia, Flanders) met during several working sessions to share their vision of the Franco-Belgian living area: what are the opportunities that reside there, what is the field of common ground, what are the possible assumptions?
The map was officially presented at the General Assembly of the Eurometropolis on March 16th. The objective is to distribute it to all the municipalities and tourist services of the territory, as well as during the events of the Eurometropolis and its partners.
