Congress of Mayors addresses cross-border issues

For the first time in 105 editions, cross-border issues were discussed at the French Mayors' Congress, held in Paris on November 22nd.
A "Meeting of cross-border elected representatives", chaired by the two co-presidents of the French mayors association’s "Cross-border cooperation" working group, brought together over sixty participants to discuss cross-border infrastructures and support for the cross-border population. The event was an opportunity for the MOT's president, Christian Dupessey, mayor of Annemasse, to recall the MOT's role and missions in serving cross-border territories.
This meeting follows the creation by the AMF, in October 2022, of a new working group on cross-border cooperation, to which the MOT is now a permanent guest.
