The MOT at SACT partnership meeting
October 2024On October 1st, the Collectivité européenne d'Alsace (European Territorial Authority of Alsace) held its 4th partnership meeting in Strasbourg, devoted to the Schéma alsacien de coopération transfrontalière (Alsace cross-border cooperation scheme).
Bringing together over 200 partners from the three borders, this meeting featured, for the first time, workshops to foster exchanges between participants. In this context, Aurélien Biscaut, MOT secretary general, led a workshop that explored experiences from another cross-border territory. It was also an opportunity to welcome two representatives of the Catalan Cross-border Area: Eva Doya Le Besnerais, delegate of the Government of Catalonia in France, and Nicolas Garcia, vice-president of the Pyrénées-Orientales department and vice-president of the MOT.
During the workshop, numerous participants were able to discuss the initiatives taken by Catalan partners to encourage the involvement of local residents in their cross-border strategy and projects.
