European elections: MOT calls for MEPs' commitment
June 2024Following the European elections, the MOT would like to pay special tribute to the work of MEP Anne Sander, MOT vice-president since 2015, whose mandate has unfortunately not been renewed.
Her commitment to cross-border cooperation has made a significant contribution to ensuring that border territories are better taken into account in European legislation and policies. The entire MOT network salutes her work in the European Parliament as president of the "cross-border liaison group" and of the "cross-border cooperation group", and in particular her initiative in the pilot project "Integrated cross-border crisis response initiative" implemented by the European Commission.
To continue to support the inclusion of cross-border living areas in European policies, so that they are no longer equated with legal or administrative blockages, but rather with innovation and social and territorial cohesion, the MOT sent a letter to the heads of the French lists following the European elections, inviting them to continue the work undertaken with Anne Sander.
The MOT urges members of parliament to join its network!
