International conference “Night Trains & Cross‐Border Rail”

The international conference will bring together experts, elected officials, operators, and associations to discuss the revival of night trains and the strengthening of cross-border rail connections in Europe. In particular, it will look at cooperation between regions, on the France-Italy and France-Portugal-Spain borders, as well as cooperation experiences like the Léman Express and the Eurometropolis Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai.

Raffaele Viaggi, the MOT’s contact for the Franco-Italian border, will speak at the first cross-border panel, in connection with the Alcotraité 2 Transports project.
