A study on border development between the Dominican Republic and Haiti

A bi-national cooperation programme between Haiti and the Dominican Republic aims to strengthen relations between national and local authorities and to promote a border development plan.
With this in mind, the MOT has worked in collaboration with Unite Caribbean to produce a comparative analysis of development planning in the border area. Following an overview of planning documents and a field survey, recommendations for developing cooperation were formulated. The study was completed in October 2023.
