Launch of the PITER “Hautes Vallées 2030”

The launch event for the Hautes Vallées 2030 strategy was held in Montgenèvre on 18 September. The day was hosted by Raffaele Viaggi, head of the MOT’s research department.
After a round table discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing this cross-border mountain community, the strategy and selected thematic projects were presented.
Priority actions include strengthening the role of the CHAV (Conférence des Hautes Vallées) as a cross-border governance structure coordinating PITER+, multimodal mobility, innovative services for businesses and citizens, and cross-border tourist routes. On this occasion, the MOT also led a workshop on “third places” and cross-border service centers, providing inspiring examples from other territories.
