Future of ETC post-2027: first MOT proposal and launch of a working group
The aim is to gather recommendations that will help shape the future of post-2027 programs from 2025 onwards. The MOT is today circulating an initial proposal for a technical contribution. In the autumn, it will launch a “Post-2027” working group reserved for its members in order to enrich this initial proposal.
The toolkit distributed by DG REGIO, to which the MOT contributed, encourages the involvement of cross-border territories, particularly through their governance structures. http://www.espaces-transfrontaliers.org/actualites/news/news/show/la-mot-presente-a-linterreg-annual-event-2023-comment-aborder-le-post-2027/
As a stakeholder, the MOT will contribute to the consultation at European level with its partners AEBR, CESCI and TEIN, and proposes an initial technical contribution, which can be downloaded here.
This consultation phase will culminate on March 27th and 28th in Gorizia (IT) and Nova Gorica (SI) with the “Interreg Annual Event” organized by DG REGIO on European territorial cooperation post- 27. The Commission will then propose a budget for the period 2028/2034, as well as draft regulations for cohesion policy, including the one on Interreg.
Would you like to help shape the future of Interreg programs? The MOT will be launching a “Post-2027” working group for its members this autumn.
