The Interreg for a Greener Europe webinar series provides a regular platform for the Interreg community to exchange insights on Policy Objective 2 (PO2) topics. Each session spotlights a key theme where territorial cooperation delivers unique added value.
This edition will focus on Cross-Border Energy Communities (CBECs). This webinar will explore how Interreg programmes and projects are already tackling issues from legal and regulatory barriers to coordination across jurisdictions, how EU policy frameworks support the development of CBECs, and what opportunities lie ahead for programmes and stakeholders. The session will bring together the European Commission, experts, Interreg programmes and projects, and support initiatives, providing inspiration, practical examples, and guidance to help programmes strengthen their role in supporting the clean energy transition.
