Call for Papers – Understanding and analysing urban borders

In an increasingly interconnected yet fragmented world, urban borders are complex spaces, both barriers and interfaces, that reshape territories, institutional systems and everyday practices.

This special issue seeks to critically examine the concept of “urban borders” by exploring how these dynamics are materialised, governed and experienced and investigating the intricate interplay between physical infrastructure, policy frameworks, and grassroots realities at these vital intersections.

The call for papers is currently open to gather scholars’ works on this topic.
