Methodological Guidebook : “Articulate cohesion policy, governance structures and cross-border territorial approaches”
Presentation of the project
Running from June 2011 to October 2012, the MOT conducted a study with the aim of improving the linkage between cohesion policy, governance systems and cross-border territorial needs. It was funded by the Europ’Act technical assistance programme, supporting the coordination of the cohesion policy in France for the 2007-2013 period.
This project was conducted in two major reform contexts: the construction of the framework of the 2014-2020 European cohesion policy, and the definition of a French cross-border policy.
The results of the project (notably the methodological guidebook) are intended primarily for local authorities, government departments, European institutions and programmes and, more widely, all stakeholders in cross-border cooperation.
