Publication of the Anthedon report: the MOT contributes to a vision for the future of Gaza

The MOT supports cross-border cooperation around the world. Alongside UN-Habitat UNI experts from Heritopolis and professionals from various backgrounds, it contributes to the Anthedon initiative, a vision for the future of Gaza and its integration into a more connected region, with Israel and neighbouring countries.
Over the past few months, these experts have drafted a report exploring different scenarios for the future of this region, which is currently marked by deep divisions and unprecedented violence. The MOT contributed to the chapter on ‘Metropolitan Governance’ in order to highlight the various dimensions of integration and the role of multi-level cross-border governance in the quest for peace in these territories. It was also part of the steering committee for this initiative and developed case studies that were included in the report.
