Greater Geneva signs its fifth ‘Agglomeration Project’

On 5 June 2025, French, Geneva and Vaud partners from Greater Geneva met to confirm their commitment to a fifth agglomeration project. This document, drawn up every four years, outlines a long-term vision for the Franco-Vaud-Geneva region. It proposes the coordinated and coherent implementation of urbanisation, mobility and environment/landscape measures. For the period 2028-2032, it requests federal co-financing for 56 measures relating to public transport, multimodal interfaces, soft mobility and road redevelopment, for a total of CHF 536 million.
