The MOT takes a stance on the future of cohesion policy post-2027
Through two working group sessions* attended by around forty members of its network, the MOT has drawn up a position statement based on experiences and points of view from across France. The aim of this work is to identify priorities for future Interreg programmes after 2027 and to put forward concrete proposals.
This approach is part of a broader context: that of the development of multi-level cross-border governance tools (bilateral treaties, future BRIDGEforEU regulation, etc.), observation mechanisms (in particular the European ACROSS platform), and the negotiations under way on the European Union’s next multiannual financial framework and the future cohesion policy.
This position statement was distributed at the Interreg GO! Event 2025, held in Gorizia and Nova Gorica, before being sent to the European Commission.
