The MOT at the 19th Franco-Swiss border dialogue
April 2025
The 19th session of the Franco-Swiss border dialogue was held on March 13th in Lausanne at the International Institute for Management Development. This event, which brings together national and local administrations from the border area on an annual basis, provided an opportunity to take stock of the main cross-border cooperation issues.
The MOT, invited by the Ambassador for cross-border cooperation Philippe Voiry to be part of the French delegation, was able to present the results of the study “360° Vision of the Jura Mountains: towards a cross-border diagnosis”.
The presentation gave participants a concrete overview of the various issues of cooperation for this shared Massif: management of natural resources, differential attractiveness and cross-border employment, commuting, and pressure on land and housing supply.
