Cross-border cooperation in mountain regions: proceedings now online

On 1 and 2 July, the MOT brought together the members of its network, elected representatives, field actors and European partners in Aussois, in the heart of the French-Italian Alps, for its Annual General Meeting, at the invitation of two of its members: the Syndicat du Pays de Maurienne and the Département de la Savoie.

Alongside the MOT meetings, a conference was held on cross-border cooperation in mountain regions and its major challenges:
• The challenges of mobility and crossing the Alps
• Access to essential services, such as healthcare, on both sides of the border
• Natural risk management and adaptation to climate change
• Concrete European projects bringing citizens closer together
