Brigitte Klinkert appointed by the National Assembly for a task force on cross-border issues for French nationals living in France

Brigitte Klinkert, MP for Haut-Rhin, has been appointed by the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee as rapporteur for a flash mission dedicated to "cross-border issues for metropolitan French citizens".
The aim of this two-month assignment is to identify and analyse the day-to-day difficulties faced by people living in border regions, particularly in Alsace. ‘My aim is to identify the formalities and annoyances that hamper their daily lives, and to propose practical solutions based on common sense and efficiency. I want to see rapid results’, she emphasised. The MOT was interviewed in this context on December 20th, 2024.
