5th partnership meeting of the Alsace Cross-Border Cooperation Scheme

5ème rencontre partenariale du Schéma alsacien de coopération transfrontalière , 3 décembre 2025, à Strasbourg

On 3 December 2025, the European Community of Alsace (CeA) organised the 5th partnership meeting of the Alsace Cross-Border Cooperation Scheme (SACT) at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, bringing together more than 220 French, German and Swiss stakeholders from the Upper Rhine region. The event aimed to strengthen cross-border cooperation and present the developments of the SACT, which has identified more than 140 projects since its adoption in 2022.

Cross perspectives Upper-Rhine - Greater Geneva

Jean Peyrony, Director General of the MOT, chaired two round tables alongside MOT President Christian Dupessey, offering a comparative perspective between the Upper Rhine and Greater Geneva on transitioning living areas and the challenges these territories face in terms of attractiveness.

The discussions illustrated the strategic role of the SACT, which is a key tool for cooperation in the Upper Rhine region.
