Zusamme Solar Colmar is a project of cross-border cooperation between a French energy and German energy cooperative, both of which are citizens.
Across the border, they have worked together on projects to finance four photovoltaic solar roofs on industrial buildings of Colmar.
In order to finance the project, co-operators shared their investments,
concentrating the initial capital to guarantee citizen control of the project.
Fesa contributed 50% , Alsatian cooperative provided 10% and the remaining 40% was provided by
Cooperation for financing REScoop projects in France" a citizens' financial tool. The Alsace region contributed about €120,000 in funding to the project.
