"TRION" is an internet platform created in 2010 for the stakeholders in the energy domain stemming from the industry, from the small business sector, from the search, the services and the administration of the Metropolitan Region of the Upper Rhine.
This trinational network aims at making the space of the upper Rhine a model region regarding energy. The cross-border networking of the energy sector and the protection of the climate for the main point of "the energy performance of buildings" is the main objective of the project.
Taking a look at the acquired experiences in three countries establishes the base for common work.
All those who bring their daily experience are invited, stemming from operational activities for spatial planning, in the small business sector but also for administration and science.
In 2015, representatives of the regional authorities founded TRION-climate, giving the former TRION Network its own legal status.
