Project partners team of Panevežys county fire fighting rescue board and State Fire and Rescue Service of Latvia Bauska District prepared a joint project, because their fields of activities - help to the residents in extreme situations, fires fighting, people evacuation, rescuing and other immediate tasks include solutions of similar issues in the bordering territories of Latvia and Lithuania.

Project goals

Creation of joint fire fighting rescue service response system in the Lithuanian and Latvian border, seeking to operatively accumulate fire fighting rescue forces responding to incidents and extreme situations.
By implementation of project the preparation of the action plans for accumulation of joint fire fighting rescue forces are getting ready to apply them in practice; sharing fire fighting experience; purchase of special fire fighting technique (vehicles); joint trainings - practices; as well as assessment of practical realization of the joint plans prepared will be carried out.
