Lead partner: GIP education and long-term training (Regional education authority of Reims) - Forem (Walloon Office of Employment and Training).

The training plan "Zero Distance", was rewarded in 2012 with the label "strategic project" of the program Interreg IV A France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen. Originally, it gave as a challenge to train 600 job-seekers and employees within eight fields of activity, entitled "Cross-border jobs" characterized by a high demand for employees. The project thus aims to reduce the asymmetry of the labor market between France and Belgium, and to disseminate knowledge. It recognized success as well as the investments of its partners allows it to pursue its objectives over the long term.

Project goals

the project aims at spreading a cross-border offer of services and training in eight professional fields held because of their relevance for employment:
- Construction jobs
- Hotels and tourism
- Industry
- Training
- Telecommunications
- Theatre
- Environment and sustainable development
- Human services

It emphasizes the physical mobility of the beneficiaries, cross-border insertion and grants the possibility of doing a remote training course. Finally, the implementation of a common offer one to mutualize the human resources and the technical capacities.
