In theheart of Europe and in the centre of the Upper Rhin region, Biovalley is a French, German and Swiss cluster. It gathers 600 actors in the biotechnology, life sciences, medical, services and financial fields with pharmaceutical multinationals, start-ups, banks, venture capital companies, universities and public and private research institutions. The Biovalley cluster represents 50,000 workers in the Upper Rhin region. Three Nobel prize in medecine, chemistry were awarded to members of the cluster.

Project goals
Register the BioValley action concerning objectives of economic development in full coherence with the EU objectives, and to develop the common tools required to this end. Thus, the cluster offers services to companies to sustain their economical growth :
- finding them commercial partners and scientists ;
- giving them advice for funding programmes and for strategic opportunities to set-up in the region ;
- representing them on the international scale ;
- organising events for networking to helps them to find new opportunities.
