10th edition of the Meeting of local authorities’ international action
2 and 3 July 2019, ParisThis event is organised by the Cités Unies France and its partners, and will be held in Paris at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie.
The 10th anniversary of the «Rencontres» will be structured around various subjects to initiate and feed the discussion on major themes, for both international and local actions. The discussions will be divided in three sessions:
- Session 1: Towards the 2020 France-Africa Summit on sustainable cities: leading local authorities, at the cutting edge, with expertise, the closest to citizens’ expectations. Which mobilisation?
- Session 2: Crises, resolution and reconstruction: what space for local authorities and what role / contribution in the emergence of resilient territories?
- Session 3: New legislative context, in France and in Europe: What kind of the international action of local authorities (AICT) ? Expectations and needs of local authorities.
