ESPON WEEK: Green and Just Recovery for all European Territories

The Epson Week is a series of digital events that take place online.

On Tuesday, 15 June, it is time for the 3rd issue of TerritoriALL, the ESPON magazine, with contributions from Commissioner Elisa Ferreira, Vice President of the European Commission, Dubravka Šuica the Minister of Environment and Climate Action, João Pedro Matos Fernandes and many more.

On Wednesday, 16 June, we are discussing the transition and transformation of rural areas with João Pedro Matos Fernandes, Minister of Environment and Climate Action, Dubravka Šuica, (video message), Younous Omarjee, President of the REGI Committee of the European Parliament and Vasco Cordeiro, First Vice President of the Committee of the Regions.

On Thursday, 17 June, another debate on the recovery for Europe and the role of cohesion policy. On Wednesday and Thursday 16-17 June, it is time to share your ideas and experiences and benefit from the evidence a number of ESPON projects will present on: employment and spatial dynamics, territorial impact of natural disasters, the use of ESPON tools, the role of metropolitan areas in cohesion policy and the greenhouse gas impact of spatial planning.
